Il Laboratorio progetta e realizza soluzioni tecnologiche per favorire la competitività e la crescita delle imprese. Sviluppa soluzioni su commesse dirette da parte di privati, oppure nell’ambito di progetti di R&I co-finanziati a livello regionale, nazionale ed europeo.
La caratteristica peculiare di RT è quella di sviluppare soluzioni altamente customizzate, caratteristica che porta a realizzare ogni volta progetti unici.
Proprio in ragione di questa trasversalità, Romagna Tech è socia di tutti i Clust-ER regionali.

Romagna Tech opera al servizio di settori strategici per il territorio, quali l'agroalimentare, le rinnovabili, i materiali innovativi, l'ICT e la meccanica, impegnandosi in vari ambiti tecnologici. In coerenza con le linee guida della nuova programmazione europea, adotta un orientamento preciso verso tecnologie e processi green, mantenendo fede al suo ruolo di supporto alle imprese per l'adozione di soluzioni innovative e non standard.
L'approccio orientato a supportare la ricerca di soluzioni tecnologiche per le necessità emergenti è stato confermato e rafforzato dal periodo emergenziale a seguito della pandemia da Covid-19.
